About the Boat
The Marylander is a 48 foot Chesapeake and was commissioned in spring of 1999. It is a hand crafted Chesapeake Bay deadrise styled boat that is 14 feet 8 inches wide. The Marylander is approved by USCG to carry up to 30 passengers and 2 crew in the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding waters. It has been cared for, upgraded, and maintained by its Captain.
The Marylander is one of the most technologically advanced and ecologically friendly passenger vessels on the Chesapeake Bay. It is powered by a Tier 3, 600 horsepower Cummins QSC Marine Diesel Engine. The Marylander cruises comfortably at 18-20 knots and is well maintained before, during, and after your voyage. This Cummins Marine Diesel Engine provides power and creates low environmental impact while operating daily on the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
Its electronics package is one of the best of the Chesapeake Bay. This vessel features Down Scan, Side Scan, and Garmin Livescope fish finding capabilities. Allowing our anglers to physically see what is swimming beneath them during their voyage. It also features one of the most up to date Garmin 6 foot open array radar systems and Sionyx Nightwave night vison systems that has been currently released.
It is also equipped with air conditioning and heat for your comfort. It has numerous rod holders, features a spacious dinette in its large cabin, restroom, and two bunks in the forward cabin.
